Thracian Wine Promotion at the 9th Forum of the Vietnamese Business in Europe

In line with the efforts of Eurapel Communications to boost the image of Bulgarian wines on the ASEAN market and the success of the project: “Measures to promote European wine regions and specific regional wines from Bulgaria to the target markets of Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam” Eurapel’s team organized special promotional activities of high quality, certified Bulgarian wines during the 9th Forum of the Vietnamese Business in Europe which took place on 22th August 2015 in the Bulgarian resort Golden Sands.

The guests at the Forum were provided with the unique opportunity to taste PGI wines from the Thracian wine region of Bulgaria. On Eurapel’s invitation Mr. Vihren Velkov, the best Bulgarian Sommelier for 2012, implemented two wine tasting events. The finishing touch of the conference part of the Forum was a glass of fragrant Thracian wine. Mr. Velkov presented the carefully selected Thracian Gold premium versions of the indigenous Bulgarian varieties of Mavrud and Rubin and a blend wine of Mavrud and Cabernet Souvignon. The selection also included the PGI wines of the refined Thracian series Symbols: “Health” (Rose wine from Mavrud), “Love” (a blend of cabernet Franc & Merlot and the traditional Bulgarian variety Gamza) and “Love Divine” (Riesling & Sauvignon Franc & Muscat Ottonel). During the official dinner at International Hotel Casino & Towers Suites Hotel in Golden Sands, Bulgaria the guests had the chance to experience the exquisite combination of European cuisine and the delicate Thracian wines.
